Plus, it was a pleasant 40-minute stroll to the beautiful Douro River. it was the perfect place to spend my Christmas holiday.

The bed was a bit small and uncomfortable, and my room was next to a busy road, which made it a little noisy at night. However, these minor inconveniences didn't bother me too much since I tend to go to bed late.

Overall experience was fine. Our apartment was nice right by good local cafes and restaurants, Casa da Musica, and nearest bus stop. We got cool and cosy room with good internet as well as comfortable bed. Everything was simply perfectly fine.

Cesco, the friendly and helpful host, made me feel at home from start to finish. The district has everything I needed – cafes, a supermarket, and a bus stop within a 3-minute walk. The kitchen had all the utilities I needed, and the bathroom had all the necessary stuff. The large terrace added to the experience, with a lovely view over the bonsai garden. Fresh and clean towels and linens, along with a comfortable mattress, made my stay even better.
